The longtime home of Atlantic Records co-founder and jazz producer Nesuhi Ertegun has been listed for $3.5 million. Set on nearly four acres in Katonah, New York, the modern-style home stands out with its big water views of the Cross River Reservoir. Designed with expansive skylights and floor-to-ceiling glass to capture the dramatic water views, rooms flow into one another with gallery-like walls to display the owner’s art collection. The home’s primary suite has its own private terrace with more water views. It is listed with Sally Slater from Douglas Elliman.

Ertegun, who came to the US from Turkey in 1935 with his parents and siblings, worked with many of the jazz world’s most renowned musicians, including John Coltrane and Charles Mingus. In 1971, he founded WEA International, later known as Warner Records, and was head of the company’s international division until he retired in 1987. He died in 1989.
