Matt Lauer has been a multiple property landowner in the Hamptons for years, and just purchased Richard Gere’s historic 1902 6.3-acre waterfront Hamptons estate. Matt already owns a charming cottage in Southampton, a Sag Harbor 25-acre estate and a 40-acre equestrian facility in Water Mill. After buying Richard Gere's Strongheart Manor for $33 million, Lauer began liquidating listing the Southampton cottage and, a few days later, listed his Sag Harbor estate. So far, the equestrian facility remains in the family.
