When you grow up in Hawaii, or at the edge of any ocean, it gets in your blood and stays with you for your lifetime. It is said by the locals that the Obamas went many times to Nancy’s Restaurant on the harbor to pick up take-out so they could go home and eat on the deck while watching the boats go by. The 4,000 square foot ranch-style house is smaller than most they have rented, but it has 7 bedrooms and 5.5 baths with deck and lawn that goes to the water’s edge. The new owner will also have the potential for adding a boat dock if they choose.
