USA’s Longest Highways!

Before the expressway system was built after World War II, Americans did most of their vacation traveling by highway. Red lights slowed everyone down and dirty rest stop gas stations welcomed families in their Ford and Chevy station wagons. The longest highway in the country is US 20 from Boston to Newport, Oregon at 3,237 miles. USA Today lists America’s 51 longest highways.
