During the U.S. real estate crash, Canada home prices barely missed a beat continuing to climb almost every year. While single-family prices outperformed condo prices, now the opposite is true with condo prices across Canada up over 14% in 2017. Despite some recent softening, prices continue to increase in most of the country, especially expensive in the City of Vancouver where single-family home prices average almost $1.5 million and condos almost $800,000.
