As a solo artist, he is responsible for seven UK number one singles, fourteen number one albums, and the Guinness Book of World Records entry for the most tickets sold in one day: 1.6 million during his Close Encounters Tour. He was inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame in 2004, after being voted the Greatest Artist of the 1990s. A resident of Los Angeles since 2006, he has an estimated net worth of over $120 million.
Planning to move to Florida with his wife and four kids, the rocker just sold his LA home to Drake for $75 million and purchased an epic mansion in Coral Gables for $40 million, plus another $5 million for furnishings. The residence is located in the Old Cutler Bay neighborhood on a rare one-acre peninsula lot with 435 feet of waterfrontage, a 75-foot dock, and views on three sides. The sellers were the glamorous Dr. Nicole Martin, formerly of The Real Housewives of Miami, and her fiancé, powerhouse attorney Anthony Lopez. The sale is on track to set a new record for the exclusive neighborhood.
Spanning 19,380 square feet, the mansion includes seven bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and two powder rooms.
