Longaberger Basket Building Converted To Luxury Hotel!

The seven-story, 180,000-square-foot Longaberger Basket building in Newark, Ohio will be converted to a luxury hotel. Longaberger sold picnic-type baskets through multi-level-marketing and once had as many as 8,200 employees. In 1997, the company built its headquarters to look like its best-selling basket. Longaberger closed the basket building in 2016 and went out of business in 2018.
