‘The Amityville Horror’ House Killer Is Dead!

Defeo’s crime was later made into a best-selling book and movie, The Amityville Horror, and the house became world famous. Its address and facade were later changed to discourage visitors. DeFeo died in a New York prison hospital at age 69.
