Casa Encantada was built in the 1930s for Hilda Boldt Weber, the wealthy widow of glass manufacturer Charles Boldt. The home is set on 8.5 acres with ocean and city views. If it sells near the asking price, it will be the most expensive home ever sold in the US, a title that the 40,000-square-foot home has previously held in 1980 and 2000. The home is listed with Kurt Rappaport of Westside Estate Agency and Drew Fenton of Carolwood Estates.
