Home Alone Gets Family!
Not alone anymore! All the celebrity status in the world doesn't change the fact that this is one of the most beautiful homes in the country. Inside, outside and location-wise, few could ask for more in a forever home. With just the right amount of glamour, finesse in decor, and with all the features to make a family comfortable . . .not to mention a great Christmas house, we can't imagine the new owners being anything but thrilled to the core. Of course, there will always be a few gawkers snapping pictures of the Home Alone house, which movie has and still does, make us howl with glee, but it's a home to be proud of and we doubt a few tourists will do anything more than put a grin on the new owners' faces.

In case you forgot, it's located in one of the nicest small town burbs that Chicago has to offer, Winnetka! Just blocks to the town center with all its shops and restaurants, it is also just blocks away from a sandy lakeside beach!

We were particularly happy to see what the 4,250-square-foot, 14-room home looked like stripped of all the Christmas trimmings when we told you about it back in the summer of 2011. Situated on a half-acre lot, it features 4 bedrooms and 3.2 baths, but the master suite encompasses half of the whole west side of the second floor with a heavenly sitting room, wood burning fireplace, a huge bath and sun room!

So now what we'd really like to know is whether or not the new family has kids who are secretly awaiting that wild ride down the banister they've been dreaming about since they saw the movie!
