Hermann’s choice of glass shows his keen desire for perfection in every detail, which is why the house took six years to build.

The setting for the 14,000 square foot house is a Live Oak forest understoried by ferns and boulders. The 3.5 acres has a simple green lawn from the house to the wood line so as not to interrupt the view to the architectural tree branches. The interior contains 5 bedrooms, 6 baths, a grand hallway and large wine room. The large gallery is an impressive venue for the display of works of art and is also large enough for the owner’s car collection of 32 cars.
