GOP Star Rubio Moving On!
Must SeeTop 10 Florida Condos For SaleAll politics aside, Marco Rubio is a fine young family man of Cuban heritage who appreciates the opportunities this country has given his family and himself. Even if you don’t agree with his politics, you have to admit that he’s a good speaker with a strong and passionate belief system. So he drinks water? So what! During his rebuttal speech of the State of the Union address, he also had the finesse not to appear on camera with a lineup of water bottles sitting across the podium like so many public figures who have come before him. Neither did he stand there and guzzle like the rest. Instead, he took a quick, polite sip. Tell the truth: The guy is charming! Not to mention very easy to look at!
Those who don’t spend much time working out their brain cells would think the media and comedians, with the help of YouTube and instant broadcast replays, destroyed his career by making fun of the simple act of drinking water during a speech, . . but think again!
Ever remember hearing, "Any publicity is better than no publicity?" Now the name Marco Rubio is on the lips of every adult in the country. They’ll eventually forget why, but don’t think they’ll forget the name.
Of course with that spotlight now cast, followed the scrutiny about his statement, "Mr President, I still live in the same working-class neighborhood I grew up in." We, along with the entire country’s population, wanted to see the house. Since when did a single family middle class house ever get that much attention? It’s no longer "quietly on the market." In fact, the publicity for the house is a seller’s and agent’s marketing dream come true.
Only five blocks south of the heart of Little Havana and within spitting distance of Coral Gables, the Rubio’s 2,649 square foot house sits on a cul-de-sac in a lovely neighborhood spotted with swimming pools. Clearly an inviting and safe place to raise children, the Rubios not only have a pool but have a trampoline and playhouse for their brood of four. The 4 bedroom, 4 bath home rates high on curb appeal and is family friendly with large kitchen opening to the family room as well as nice spots for entertaining.
The word on the street is that Marco plans on moving his family to Washington, D.C. after the house sells and will buy another smaller residence in his home state of Florida. Though everyone likes to paint it as political move, did anyone ever consider that this devoted family man wanted his family near when congress is in session?
Marco Rubio asking $675,000 for conservative Miami home. Paid $500,000 in December, 2005 at the height of the Florida real estate boom.
