Must SeeTop 10 Florida Condos For SaleJules and Eddie Trump of The Trump Group, no connection to Donald Trump, originating out of South Africa, have made their mark in developing high end real estate. Regardless of the real estate climate, the Trump brothers don’t seem to be affected. They’ve found their niche in over-the-top luxury boutique building construction knowing that the wealthy continue to spend on luxury, even in fluctuating financial times. The Trumps’ buildings emphasize cutting-edge function, grand locations on the water and haute design. Having concentrated so far on Florida, they now have Williams Island in Aventura, Luxuria in Boca Raton and Acqualina Resort & Spa in Sunny Isles under their successful belts. Their newest building, Mansions at Acqualina in Sunny Isles Beach next door to the Acqualina Resort, is near completion and almost sold out, so they’ve now turned their Midas touch to a California project.
The Mansions contains 79 luxury condos furnished from the top of its 47 stories to its toes by Fendi Casa. As of the beginning of September 2013, the building is 80% sold. The pièce de résistance, however, is the Palazzo d'Oro penthouse. At a total living area of 11,069 square feet including terraces, the two-story "Gold Palace" has a grand salon, family room, five bedrooms, eight bathrooms, dining room, cantilevered glass-walled swimming pool overlooking the Atlantic, spa, eat-in kitchen, summer kitchen, utility room and pantry-storage room. It also has a large see-through glass wine room, a theater, private elevator, round glass elevator between floors, billiard room, an indoor pool, a "sky garden" with 30-foot ceilings, a 25-foot waterfall, and a live green wall.
Palazzo d'Oro, now the highest priced penthouse in Miami at $55 million.
