It has been on and off the market in recent years at prices ranging from $17.9 to $21 million, but has failed to sell. The current owner bought the oceanfront home from the government in 2009 for $9.4 million, and then spent millions to bring the home into the the 21st Century. Proceeds from the sale went to reimburse victims of Bernie’s Ponzi scheme.
