Built in 1955 on 14 acres of wooded land alongside the Noroton River in New Canaan, Connecticut, the home includes many of the signature-Wright features such as its Cherokee-red floors, but also has a rooftop observatory, tennis court, greenhouse, playhouse, circular pool, and a wine cellar that was converted into a bomb shelter. According to the listing, Wright stayed in the home while his Guggenheim Museum was being built. The home is listed with Marsha Charles of Coldwell Banker for $8 million.
