While some U.S. towns are still struggling to recover from the 2008-11 recession housing price collapse, others have surged far ahead of their pre-recession price peaks. 24/7 Wall Street lists the top 15 including Greeley, Colorado where median home prices have increased 79.2% since 2005 (from $182,500 to $326,950). The next highest is Denver at 68.2% (from $227,050 to $382,000).
