Florida Shoots Past New York

With an influx of new residents, new construction and rising home prices, Florida has passed New York in total home values, now in second place behind California. The Miami-Fort Lauderdale metro area gained 87% in home values for fifth place on the city list, trailing New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Boston.
