John and his late wife, Kelly Preston, bought the 20-bedroom, resort-like property in 1991. Travolta described it as a “fairytale house” and, in a 1991 interview, said that he bought it for family Christmas vacations. Built in 1903 on Isleboro island, the home has 20 bedrooms and both Penobscot Bay and Atlantic Ocean views.
