Mitt Romney Sells His Car Elevator Mansion!

In 2008, Romney bought a 3,009-square-foot home in the beach community but then had it demolished and built a much larger home, over 8,000 square feet, with a car elevator. The car elevator and large inventory of Romney homes drew considerable criticism that he was out of touch with normal voters.
