Tony Gwynn was one of baseball’s most popular players during his 20 years with the San Diego Padres. Despite making one of the highest salaries in the major leagues and a career .338 batting average, Tony had significant financial problems and filed bankruptcy due to a bad financial planner. He died in 2014 at age 54 from cancer. His former home that his widow, Alicia, still owns, is in foreclosure.
