Rubber Town Named Best Retirement City

GoBankingRates analyzed the 100 largest US cities with at least 10 percent of their residents aged 65 and older. According to their calculations, a senior needs less than $1,700 per month in Akron to cover expenses. They found that Akron also has good walkability and a large number of parks, stores and restaurants. Albuquerque, New Mexico and Spokane, Washington were the second and third-highest ranked cities.
