A San Francisco home that was chopped in half with a chainsaw and shipped across the bay is for sale. The 5,728-square-foot Moffit Mansion was originally located in San Francisco’s Pacific Heights neighborhood. With the threat of demolition, the home was dismantled in the 1960s and shipped across San Francisco Bay to Marin County and rebuilt. It is now for sale at $11.95 million.
