US Pending Home Sales Fall, Ending Four-Month Positive Streak

The June decline ended a four-month streak of gains.
“The record-high national median home price combined with the highest mortgage rates in almost a year are contributing to a tepid housing market that is particularly challenging for first-time homebuyers,” stated NAR Chief Economist Lawrence Yun.
