According to Joan Johnson, the mill work, the moldings, beams and columns, were the features that they were most excited about in the house. One room has 48 hand carved panels of the flora of northwest!
With 13,000sf of living area, including a 3,800sf guest house, accommodations include 5 BR, 5.5 BA and grand spaces for elaborate entertaining. The dining room can seat over 14, there is a chapel and even a men's lounge, map room, wine cellar and a 4th floor observation deck.
