Bill Koch Reduces Aspen Ranch Price!
Must SeeTop 10 Florida Condos For SaleBill Koch, of the controversial Koch Brothers, has recently relisted his 82-acre 1907 Elk Mountain Lodge ranch with Douglas Elliman and reduced the price from the original $100 million to $80 million. Koch purchased the property in 2007 for $26.5 million and has had it on and off the market over the last couple of years. Measuring in with a total of 25,277 square feet of living space containing 27 bedrooms and 32 baths, there are 12 buildings on the property including the 14,987-square-foot lodge and three guest homes named Ashcroft, American Lake and Crystal. Crystal also houses a massive recreation center, a full-sized basketball court and a huge gym. Other recreational venues on the property include a theater room, walk-in wine room, multiple hot tubs, and two trout-stocked ponds. The lodge is being sold furnished except for Koch’s extensive art collection. Divided into four parcels, the three guest homes are each on their own parcel and can be sold separately. The lodge itself could be put to a variety of uses or as a one family ski retreat for friends and extended family.
