Florida Swan Farms Auction!
Florida Swan Farms Auction!
Must SeeTop 10 Florida Condos For SaleThis seems to be the year for spectacular Florida equestrian estates. The dressage community already knows this lovely estate designed by Carol Cohen, who pioneered the concepts of adding covered riding arenas and spa-like horse facilities for private estates.
Both Carol and her daughter, Rebecca, are decorated dressage competitors who have moved to New Jersey where Rebecca is training in dressage with Pan Am Gold Medalist, Lauren Sammis.
The village of Wellington is just west of Palm Beach and is globally recognized for its equestrian and polo events. Carol and her husband, Alan Cohen, built two horse farms, of which this is the second. They previously owned a much larger horse farm in the same community. That farm was put on the market and was sold four days after being listed. This smaller farm has been easier for Carol and her daughter to manage since the death of her husband, Alan. Alan N. Cohen was an entertainment lawyer and businessman. He was also the former co-owner of the Boston Celtics and New Jersey Nets, and served as chairman and CEO of the Madison Square Garden Corporation, owner of the New York Knicks and the New York Rangers.
Two Swans Farm has just been featured in the 2012-2013 winter edition of Equestrian Quarterly, which features high-profile equestrian estates owned by billionaires and celebrities.
