For a limited time, Fishtail Residency of Annapurna Developers will give a free Hyundai Santro or free furniture including a mattress, television and oven to people who buy a new home in their new development. The value of the car or furniture is, according to My Republica newspaper, somewhere in the range of NPR 1.6 million to NPR (Nepalese rupee) 1.7 million, or the equivalent of about $22,000 U.S. dollars. Looking very much like a builder's closeout with only 3 units left in the second phase, these might be gone as we go live. Though we can't see the interiors, the exteriors show solidity of construction and even appear to have authentic slate roofing. New home interiors that we have seen before in new Indian construction have been spacious, light filled and with heavy use of stone, marble and accents of ironwork.
