Glenn Beck Loses on Home Sale!
Glenn Beck Loses on Home Sale!
Not at all surprising that this gorgeous home sold, but there are a couple of other surprises to be noticed. First the home sold for 27% below original value and even in this awful market, and especially compared to other high end real estate, it looks to be worth every penny of its asking price and more. The next surprise is that Mr. Beck apparently is in a rush to get out of Dodge. Dodge being his Fox television program and all geographic places reminding him of said experience. The only thing we can think of to cause him to take such a loss on that beautiful home would be a . . . (we won't say what kind) . . . threat based on the controversy stirred up by his TV show.
Take a look at the amazing deal his buyer got on this lovely place! Built in 2004 at 11,320sf, the home has 4 floors with 10' ceilings throughout. There are 6 BR, 5 full and 3 half baths, a pool, covered porch, all hardwood floors, a billiard room, exercise room and a lovely guest house with fireplace. Oh! There are also 5 fireplaces in the main house! The layout is lovely and the exquisite entrance foyer tempts one instantly to explore and uncover the beautiful details within. The house exudes charm, warmth and comfort from every aspect. The 2.8 acres are perfectly landscaped and manicured and the view of sunsets over the reservoir must be grand!
All we can say is that something had to go very wrong in order for a family to give up this amazing property. We just hope they find something equally as nice. Congratulations to the new owner . . . You got away at a steal! Was asking $4.9m - sold for $3.6m.
