Must SeeTop 10 Florida Condos For SaleHopalong Cassidy was one of the most successful media characters in the world in the early 1900s. Clarence E. Mulford created the character as a rough and tough cowboy star for his popular short stories and novels. Hopalong Cassidy was the first TV network cowboy series and was so successful that Hopalong inspired both the Gene Autry and Roy Rogers TV shows, became a coverboy for major magazines (Look, Life and Time) and was the first character to be mass replicated on children’s lunch boxes.
