Is It a French Farm House?
Is It a French Farm House?
Or a California estate you can buy for $6.5m? Not hard to tell that the owner/designer is a dyed in the wool Francophile! She obviously brought the finest architectural details France has to offer, and the ones we all adore; stone, handmade tiles, live-in gardens. Hidden in privacy on two acres in the middle of Montecito, the immediate standouts are the pressed stone instead of lawn (bravo for French practicality!), the charming pond graced with yellow flag iris and water lilies , not to mention the adorable duck house . . with ducks! Hard to believe all of this has been here for only 10 years. Not only do the buildings look centuries old but the carefully thought out landscape has filled in as it would have over many years. Come feel the magic in this glorious property!
