The home was sold by the latest owner, Donald Roth, a founder of international private equity firm EMP Global and a former vice president of the World Bank to undisclosed buyers for $8.6 million. The 1870 home of 11,000 square feet in four levels has 9 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, 12 fireplaces and high ceilings. There is also a 3-car garage, private manicured gardens and a swimming pool.
Historic Georgetown home was purchased by Janet Lee Auchincloss Morris (nee Janet Lee Bouvier), during John F. Kennedy’s presidency. Purchased by Donald Roth in 2001 for $3.75 million - sold by Mr. Roth in 2013 for $8.6 million.
