Kelsey Finally Sells!
Kelsey Finally Sells!
Must SeeTop 10 Florida Condos For SaleBest known for his 20-year run on the TV sitcom "Frazier" and prior long run on "Cheers", five time Grammy winner,Kelsey Grammar’s life has been like a roller coaster of highs and lows. Now on his fourth marriage and apparently happy at last, the stinging battle with ex-wife and "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Camille Grammer shows no promise of ending anytime soon. On top of that, Kelsey’s newest sitcom "Boss", which premiered in 2011, was cancelled after just two seasons.
During his marriage to Camille, the couple acquired a considerable amount of real estate that they’ve been trying to sell to settle the divorce. Mostly this just hasn’t been happening. However, the good news is that one home has finally sold and it must have been a happy day for Kelsey to let it go. He bought it only a year ago for $6.5 million and sold it for $6.7 million. Not bad for a rapid turnaround. The house is a 1926 classic Spanish Colonial Revival designed by noted architect Ralph C. Flewelling. It’s a beautiful 6,100 square foot, 6 bedroom, 6 bath home that makes one estate less than before.
Problem is, Kelsey has too many mansions. Perhaps as many as five homes. And which one to live in? If he can’t get $30,000 in rent for each, he’ll have to sell, which is what he’s been trying to do for the last five years. Camille lives in the Malibu house so one would think he could have his pick of the remainder. Camille disagrees. She insists that a house won’t sell if Kelsey is living in it. Camille receives over $40,000 a month in alimony and child support from Kelsey.
Yes, Kelsey Grammar is living in a lot of confusion over his real estate holdings these days, but he does have good taste and leans toward classic homes loaded with character and designed by important architects. Though things are a little rough at the moment, we doubt it will last. He’s already in negotiations for another sitcom and a movie. With talent like that, can he lose?
Kelsey Grammar just sold one of his classic estates owned only one year and received a $200,000 profit to boot.
