Liz’s Home Sells Fast!
Liz's Home Sells Fast!
Just as we expected! After seeing Liz's creation of the home she loved for 30 years, we knew
others would feel the same. The house was listed in May at $8.6m but we'll have to wait for the selling price to finally make it into the public records since the selling agent is holding that information close to the vest.
It's time to envy what the new owner is going to experience. We know everything about Liz permeates the house because she clearly put so much love into her personal environment. She loved English gardens and chances are good that she planted each of the flowers with her own hands. Imagine! She also loved the jungle and installed a bamboo forest and koi pond. She spent many an hour inside the forest where she either read or meditated. The new owner is bound to feel her presence and be honored to be the future caretaker of this charming property.
Said to be the most beautiful woman in the world, the public could not get enough of gazing on that exquisitely proportioned face with the violet eyes. By the time she died in March at the age of 79, she had won Oscars for her performances in "Butterfield 8" and "Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolf." She is also listed on the American Film Institute's Greatest Screen Legends list. This beautiful home was the place where family would congregate during the holidays and we imagine that the walls have been privy to many fascinating conversations. Congratulations to the new owner!
