More Burt Reynolds Price Reductions!
Burt's neighbors say he's done so much for the area that they're sorry to see him having such a hard time selling his foreclosed Hobe Sound home. Everyone was quick to say what a "nice guy" he is. Makes us feel bad too. But for crying out loud! If they want to sell it, someone needs to make it saleable! Now we know that banks are cheapskates when it comes to spending a cent on REOs, but it doesn't cost that much to hire a dump truck and pick a few idle men off the street corner or the homeless shelter to load it! Isn't there a real estate agent, a banker or even a friend out there to help strip this place out so it will sell? And please, get rid of those people lounging around the place! Better to have it empty than frumpy. (Sorry, Burt . . we mean well.) Rip, strip and paint it white. Use some deck stain on the dock. Trim a bush. Get rid of the screen that hampers the view of the pool. Deep 6 the mirrored wall. Just do anything at all!
It doesn't take a psychic to see that it isn't selling because people just can't see through the clutter. Just try to find the beautiful floor tiles and the good bones of the house. Fact is, it's a great house on 3 acres of waterfront next to a preserve. You just can't see it for the clutter and the underbrush. Isn't there anyone out there with a thimble full of vision?
Originally priced at $15 million. Now $4,995,000.
