Mount Sinai Conversion!
Mount Sinai Conversion!
Looks like a pretty spectacular redo! We admire the developers for making the improvements necessary while still retaining as much of the 1920's pre-war charm as possible and in addition, gaining Leeds recognition for responsible building. Of course there will always be complainers and purists when it comes to old architecture, but they won't have much left to whine about when the building crumbles on the street below, deteriorating daily in all it's purity. Hats off to the developers for their great job of bringing 1212 Fifth Avenue into the 21st Century and retaining so much of the building's historical glory!
We're happy to say that pre-sales are underway and are being chosen from the completed models. Floor plans are lovely, giving one at least eight possible options from which to choose, including the penthouse with its' amazing wraparound terrace. There are 55 units planned with combinations possible, with only four or fewer homes per floor. Homes range from 1 bedroom, 1 bath up to 5 bedrooms, 4 baths. Rooms are large and airy, filled with light, have new hardwood floors, granite, marble, higher-end appliances and exceptional cabinetry and fixtures along with heated bathroom floors. Everywhere molding and carved plaster could be saved, it was and was restored to its former beauty.
Building amenities include a 2,600sf fitness center, childrens' play room, owner lounge, a bike room and storage. This boutique residence certainly isn't short on glamour, but happily that glamour will now take you comfortably into the future instead of onto the sidewalk in a heap of rubble! Not to mention having Central Park for your front yard! How good can it get? Not much better than 1212 Fifth Avenue!
Get thee to the sales office and select yours now, while they last, for delivery at the end of the year or early 2012 and take advantage of New York's newest opportunity! Priced from $745k for a 1 bedroom up to $7.995m for the penthouse.
