Suspiciously silent for the last months, short of the controversial moose hunt, we sadly knew it wouldn't last. And last it didn't. Doubt any of us was prepared for The Bus, and Heaven knows not the new 2-hour movie about her life, The Undefeated, but we were even less prepared for the Arizona mini-mansion purchase! Why? No one seems to know why she would buy an Arizona house aside from the fact that regardless of how she loves to demand an instant fix for the economy, she is not above acting on the guilty pleasure of taking full advantage of the opportunities it provides.

Under the not-so-effective shield of Safari Investments, she bought this $1.7m, 7,900sf mini mansion on May 12th. From the purchase date until today, there must have been construction crews, cleaning crews, landscape crews and a very talented decorator working around the clock to make it livable for this week's arrival of The Bus! The few pictures available pre-arrival make it look as though it has been sitting empty for a very long time. We understand that the back yard now has a lawn with jungle gym and also the pre-existing pool to enjoy. The house is comprised of 5 bedrooms and 6.5 baths and sits on 4 acres that appears to be walled in with a hefty security gate at the entrance. The garage will house 3 cars and it has other features like a media room . . a must for viewing one's latest escapades on TV. But all said and done, a house is a house. We're sure a good decorator and cleaning crew made a huge difference. The only thing the pictures showed us was neglect, dirt and a heck of a lot of cactus. But then again, if there's already a lawn thriving somewhere in this barren moonscape, it must already have been visited by the transformers.
