The Ponderosa Ranch home for the NBC-TV Cartwright family in Bonanza was filmed on the Nevada side of the lake. Henry J. The estate is located on eight acres with 670 feet of rocky and beach shoreline. There is a steel pier with boat lift. Three buildings are on the property, all with lake views. There is the main house, a guesthouse and conference center. The 7,000 square foot main house has 8 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, an indoor pool and art-display walls, a game room, two offices and an elevator. The conference center has a boardroom that seats 12 and a library. There is also a 50,000-watt gas generator in case of a power outage.
