Gordon Ramsay
Gordon Ramsay
Everyone enjoys discussing Gordon Ramsay. Cooks admire him because he's received 13 Michelin awards and the man knows how to cook! Women love him because they believe his loud tirades indicate that he could also be wildly passionate elsewhere. Flailing restaurateurs love him because he can put their restaurants back in the black almost overnight. Television viewers love to watch him verbally abuse employees with gusto and try to keep count of how many times he can use the F-word in one hour to see if he can best his own record score of 335 times! That talent alone was the inspiration for his new British TV show, The F-Word. The tabloids have lately loved him for yet another reason. After portraying the image of the loyal family man for years, and being the recipient of numerous awards for his strong family ethics, they rejoiced when the word got out that he had been having a seven-year affair! Interestingly, Ramsay never denied the affair and his wife, Tana, stood by him while his mistress, Sarah Symonds, dissed their relationship all over her blog, Pillow Talk.
Having no time for serious cooking these days due to his restaurants now spanning the globe from Dubai to Tuscany, throughout Europe and the United States, Gordon Ramsay never fails to keep us on the edge of our seats with the signature tirades he displays on his wildly popular TV shows. Starting in the food industry at the age of 19, Forbes now estimates Ramsay's earnings to be in the $7.5 million range.
Scottish-born Gordon lives with his wife, Tana and their four children in Wandsworth, South West London, along with their two bulldogs Rumpole and Romeo. Their $6.3 million multi-level house is accented with a turret in a neighborhood of similar homes and has a large enclosed back yard. The front of the house opens to a park with walking-jogging paths, rolling lawns and sports courts.
