$23 Million for Leonardo DiCaprio's Malibu Beach Home!
Must SeeTop 10 Florida Condos For SaleAt the age of 38, Leonardo has already had a 24-year career starting with his first TV commercial in 1988 for Matchbox cars. He went on to act in so many Oscar winning and nominated films that he, like Robin Williams, is a true household name. Is there anyone on earth who hasn’t been held entranced by Titanic? So many good films, so much well deserved financial reward.
But speaking of all that financial reward, what happened to the Malibu beach home he has now listed at a heart thumping $23 million? Surely a few dollars could have gone into it for warmth and appeal. It almost looks as though no one has ever lived in it. Obviously furnished for a renter (low end), we’re not surprised he had no takers at a rental price tag of $150,000 for a short term lease. People willing to spend that many rental bucks are expecting glamour, warmth, and color. So far it seems that the property has been looking for love in all the wrong places. Nice that he decided to relinquish it to a new owner and their decorator to work their magic.
Built in 1927, it has that early 20th Century beachy look that some happy buyer will enjoy emphasizing. Though the size of the house is not mentioned, there is another guest house on the property and a loft that appears to be self sufficient with small kitchen and private deck. Something else this house has that is hard to find is a small protected oceanfront lawn and garden. All told, the property has 7 bedrooms and 7 baths.
Now on the market at $23 million. Includes 3 homes on prime Malibu property.
