World Record Miami Home Sale!
Must SeeTop 10 Florida Condos For SaleIn another sign that a new Florida real estate boom is underway, the Miami Herald last week reported that 45 new condo towers are in various stages of development for the Southeast Florida area, including about 1200 new units in the tiny beach town of Sunny Isles Beach, just north of Miami Beach. Even more amazing, according to another report from Miami Condo Investments, three Miami projects that launched earlier this year - 1100 Millecento, Brickell House and My Brickell – are already 97 percent sold out. Two of the three projects have not even broken ground yet.
The South Florida market has been heading upwards since the first daffodil raised its head this spring and homes from modest to mansion that were priced to reflect the bottoming market have been pulled, only to come back on at a higher price.
One outstanding example of high-end properties finding buyers is that of 3 Indian Creek Drive in Miami. This zen-like contemporary of 30,000 square feet, 10 bedrooms and 14 baths on Biscayne Bay just broke all records for Miami home sales at $47 million. It’s located on Indian Creek Island with only 32 waterfront estates with its own golf club and probably the best security available, including security boats that protect the waterline. Brand new construction, this house contains innovative features that will carry it happily through the 21st Century . . of course, unless tile counter tops come back.
If you think that’s the only record breaker, what about 1473 N. Ocean Boulevard in Palm Beach which recently sold for $41.5 million, making it the largest sale in Palm Beach since 2008?
Just sold – Miami's most expensive single family home sale ever. Closed at $47 million.
